Ventura Transport is one of Melbourne’s largest bus operators, serving communities across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. With a fleet of over 400 buses and more than 600 employees, Ventura connects thousands of passengers to work, education and essential services every day.

The brief

Our engagement with Ventura Transport centred on a brand refresh that honoured decades of community connection while propelling the company forward, followed by comprehensive implementation across all touchpoints including bus livery, depot signage, website and communications materials.

The outcome

Brand refresh and implementation

We developed visual brand concepts that respected Ventura’s heritage whilst designing for the future. The final brand celebrates the buses, roads, journeys and depot moments. Graphcis that show the transit through arriving and departing graphics, roadway graphics, aerial journey maps with bus overlays, custom illustrations and bespoke icons.

Post concept approval, we were asked to complete the brand implementation as well; a process requiring technical expertise, supplier coordination and project management that resource-stretched organisations rarely have in-house.

Microsoft templates

For us, a large portion of the brand implementation was the creation of a suite of Microsoft templates designed to empower staff across the organisation to be able to deliver branded documents through the templates.

Word deliverables included Long Report, Annual Report, Letterhead and six operational forms, each featuring contemporary graphic styles, comprehensive numbering structures and custom table styles that reflect Ventura’s visual identity.

PowerPoint deliverables featured Presentation templates alongside a graphics library of over 100 pages.

The graphics library is a comprehensive resource providing pre-designed pages across multiple layouts and applications. This library enables teams to maintain brand consistency and deliver professional communications by simply adding content, eliminating the need for design expertise whilst ensuring quality executions across the organisation.
